Insmed – Seen Book
Bronchiectasis (also referred to simply as "BE") is a disease in which the airways become permanently damaged, affecting patients' long-term quality of life. To demystify and promote public discussion about this uncommon and often silent condition, NORTE developed the Seen book in partnership with Insmed: a printed publication filled with stories, articles and tips from real people living with BE.
With design by Firmorama, the book creates connection and a sense of belonging through the stories of Jodi, Allison, Amber and Edna, who shared the challenges and triumphs of their diagnosis and treatment journeys. The book also features lettering contributions by Lygia Pires, and illustrations by Leo Teixeira, Rogério Puhl, and Bernardo Abreu. The project was awarded with 4 statues at the 2024 Clio Awards.
